Whenever I feel lost or down, I go on road trips, solo. There’s no point in sitting down and pretending like everything is okay 100% of the time, because it’s not, and it’s great to be able to admit that. Sometimes, we just need to be able to clear our head, not think about anything else, and just allow the miles that you travel to enhance your clarity on life. It helps me reflect but also make great memories along the way exploring mother nature. It’s important to push yourself outside the realms of your comfort zone from time to time because that’s the kind of thing that makes your soul smile, and solo road trip does that for me. It may sound cliché and a bit corny, but it’s what makes me feel alive again.
