Painted just with dots, one by one. Since 2013.

I focus on the imperfections of my touches on the canvas that are purposefully but at the same time intuitively embraced to bring light to the humanness in today's digital era. Society today swarms around perfection or best practice, and imperfection is not taken in like the word perfect does. Perfectionism doesn't advance anything. My purpose in these practices is to find the reassurance and the beauty in our human imperfection: an ethereal journey that contends with the onslaught of technology, aiming to work against it. At the same time, learning to be patient, and from trial and error with these practices, I wish somewhere along the path that I can look for the notable strengthening of prowess and perhaps unleash the extraordinary. I embrace imperfection as much as I embrace the pursuit of perfection. The motion of just putting dots, one by one, helps me spiritually explore and reflect. I do this to capture the binary nature of the universe to disarm any negativity and give hope.
